THE MAIN CHARACTERS

Cleodora (Cleo)

A young woman, small, pale, dressed in tattered black leathers and a witch-like hat. She probably looks a little younger than she is. A look of innocence about her despite the dark clothing and mysterious mannerisms. She is a powerful necromancer, wielding the power of the dead, sometimes conjuring spirits into the shape of the incomparable spirit-sword.

The spirit sword is not always with her, but it manifests as a ghostly blade, looking like numerous lost and ghostly souls coalescing into a sword-like structure. Little wisps of ghostly vapor peel off the sword. Pain-filled and howling faces can be seen on the “blade”.

Zombies and skeletons… Cleo can conjure these types of creatures with abandon.

THE MAIN CHARACTERS

DETH-METL

A hulking figure made of metal. An aging relic of the past. Once an infantry war machine that now accompanies Cleo, an unstoppable warrior. He stands nine-feet tall. His look might be inspired by Anime Mechas. It’s important that while he has a head, he does not have human features. He leaks grease from his rivets. The words DEATH-METL have been painted across his chassis. He can carry weapons, such as rail guns and heavy bladed weaponry. He uses an old car door as a shield. A machine, yes, but why does it bleed when injured?

THE MAIN CHARACTERS

Rafe

Resembling a red panda the size of a human child, Rafe is a thief and inventor. He has a belt around his waist, maybe a bandolier of thieves tools. He has a pair of round goggles he sometimes wears. When not wearing them over his eyes, they sit atop his head. He is seldom armed.

DENIZENS OF THE WORLD

Barnacle Bob

The “god” of the Deeplings is a huge, barnacle-covered crab. It is gigantic in size, bigger than Deth-Metl. There is fading (dripping) graffiti on its shell. Metal plates have been riveted to the crab in places to cover old wounds. We might see some cracks showing from under the plates.

DENIZENS OF THE WORLD

ROT-MUTANTS

Not undead, but close. Infected by terrible magical enemies, this poor souls have been driven to murderous madness. The have a zombie-like appearance, with their flesh decaying and rotting away from their bones in places. Some may wear armor (piecemeal stuff… mostly cobbled together from modern ballistics and scarp) and they may have melee weapons (clubs with nails or barbed wire, wrenches, axes, nasty hooked scythes).

DENIZENS OF THE WORLD

DEEPLINGS

These mutant beings are inspired by the Deep Ones of Lovecraftian lore and (maybe moreso) the Sahaugin from D&D. They are humanoid fish-men. Brutal. Shark-like eyes and teeth. Fins like fighting fish. They, too, would have barnacle-encrusted armor and spears and tridents and such for weapons
