Cullen Bunn's The Faraway Issue 2 is available via Kickstarter

Like a polished pop star or a slugging first baseman with a perfect launch angle, horror master Cullen Bunn just keeps cranking out hits. Cullen’s latest, Issue 2 of his new comic series The Faraway, is now funding on Kickstarter!

In this dark fantasy saga, a group of friends in the last session of a roleplaying game are pulled into a fantasy world. The thing is, this ain’t the Shire; it’s a horrific, nightmarish hellscape and our heroes are second breakfast for the evil overlord who’s conquered the realm and enslaved its people. Only by mastering the artifacts of power bestowed upon them by a magical gnome do they stand any chance of surviving and returning home. Would you expect anything less from the mind behind Dragonring, Crooked Hills, and Raze: Mother, Maiden, Crone? I mean, the dude also worked on Deadpool, Magneto, Uncanny X-Men, and his own The Sixth Gun and The Damned, so you know he's legit!

And lest I forget to mention the amazing artwork from Vitalii Kalchenko, a comic book artist and writer from Kyiv, Ukraine. His comic book works include "ADAM" in Fairytales From Mars Anthology (Bad Neighbor Comics) and multiple stories in Containment Breach, Volumes 3 and 4 (Fugitive Poems). I mean, how awesome is this?

As of this writing, the project’s funded; backing it’s essentially a pre-order, at no risk to the backer. There's an option to snag the first issue as well while you're at it. Rewards include digital and print options, signed copies, variant covers, and even a super convenient (and very cost-effective) bundle of Cullen's work for the Outer Shadows imprint!
