What's It About: Desperate, the fox spirit insists Willow press on through a dangerous snowstorm. Beset by wolves and nearly freezing to death, the pair find rescue in the form of the huntress Red, her wolf Mara, and the handsome woodcutter, Arden.
The storm blows long and fierce, forcing Willow and Gideon to take shelter in Arden’s cabin. Hoping to arrange for help navigating through the mountains, Willow relays their tale to the curious woodcutter. Beset with guilt, Gideon finally reveals a terrible secret to Willow, and the betrayal shatters the bond between them, quite possibly forever.
As Gideon leaves to search out the Snow Queen for answers alone, Willow must determine if she will abandon her friend…or come to accept who she has become…and save him.

She has also published several short stories that range from horror to humor to tragically melancholy and she particularly enjoys twisting fairy tales for her own dark purposes.
