What's It About: When the king and queen of Magog are assassinated, the Monsterwood’s monsterous inhabitants are blamed, leaving infant princess Jocasta as the heir of a quickly dividing kingdom. Under the rule of the ominous Regent Tiberius, Jocasta is forbidden from venturing into the Monsterwood, a rite crucial for her anointment as queen, despite her growing determination as her sixteenth birthday looms. The streets of Magog are equally treacherous, especially for the oppressed Mahru people, targeted by Tiberius’s ruthless Zumari enforcers. Teen troublemaker Jovis finds himself on the run, seeking refuge in the perilous Monsterwood! As these story goes Jovis stumbles upon a disguised Jocasta and her loyal companion Scrage, forming an unlikely trio that embarks on a journey through a world full of outlandish creatures, sinister villains, and uncomfortable truths upending everything they once held true.
