This anthology does NOT disappoint. A wonderfully eclectic mix of powerful, memorable stories. I hope the individual authors are developing their characters into stand-alone stories.

This is an eclectic anthology -- my favorite kind! -- filled with stories, history, essays revolving around greater representation. A few of the standout stories were Carol Berg's (the only flaw in the Book of Rowe was that it was not nearly long enough), Melanie Meadors's, Seanan McGuire's, and Monica Valentelli's essay. It's great, and a must have.

This anthology was brilliant. Beautiful and bold stories about the strongest women in the most amazing roles. I don't know if I'll ever read another one like it. I hope to all the Gods they make more. Everyone, buy this book. Read this book. It will enhance everything about your reading life.

about the book

Mother. Warrior. Caregiver.
Wife. Lover. Survivor.
Trickster. Heroine. Leader.

This anthology features 21 stories and six essays about women who defy genre stereotypes. Here, it’s not the hero who acts while the heroine waits to be rescued; Hath No Fury’s women are champions, not damsels in distress. Whether they are strong, bold warriors, the silent but powerful type, or the timid who muster their courage to face down terrible evil, the women of Hath No Fury will make indelible marks upon readers and leave them breathless for more.
