OUTLAND ENTERTAINMENT TO PUBLISH RYAN COLLINS GAME KINTERLANDS: SIEGE COMMAND
Independent Publisher Outland Entertainment to Publish Tabletop Card Game Siege Command and Companion Graphic novel
Kansas City, MO: Outland Entertainment is pleased to announce a collaboration with Ryan Collins to publish the game Siege Command and an original graphic novel based on his world of Kinterlands.
In Kinterlands, several Tribes speckle the sprawling landscapes of The Continent, spawning dozens of unique cultures and hand-tailored histories in a world with a mysterious distant past. To earn a place in these tales, a Tribe must learn not only to survive – but to thrive. While most Tribes today have developed their way of life within the secure confines of solitude, others continue a tradition of seizing their security by force.
In the game you try to capture and hold the turrets in each of the four lanes to destroy your opponent's walls. During the simultaneous planning phase, you will secretly prepare units and spells, then adapt your strategy while taking turns resolving cards in the action phase.
Kinterlands creator, Ryan Collins, says, “I immediately knew that Outland was the perfect fit for the world of Kinterlands when I met Jeremy and the team back in May and learned about their initiative to build worlds across all sorts of media. Since then I've started seeing some absolutely breathtaking artwork coming in from the amazing Rob Nix, and I can't wait to start letting folks explore the diverse and expansive world we're building together!”
And the feeling is mutual. “Once I saw what Ryan was going for with Kinterlands, I have to say I was really inspired,” says Outland’s Founder and Creative Director, Jeremy Mohler, “Ryan has created a huge world that has a deep and interesting history and we'll have a ton of fun working with him to bring it to life.”
The game is fully illustrated by Rob Nix.
The Kickstarter for Kinterlands: Siege Command will be launched in early 2021.
