Cullen Bunn's Chainsaw Witches freakin' rocks!

We all know Cullen Bunn's Chainsaw Witches is a core component of his Triple Threat of Terror comic bundle, featuring a trio of rocker witches waging a bloody war against demonic forces. Turns out it's also awesome source material for heavy metal!

Best known globally for their animated video "Udoroth," A Sound of Thunder brings the spirit of Cullen's horror comic to life with pounding guitars, soaring vocals, and a hell of a lot of fire. Seriously though, they're a lot braver than I am, with both the flames and that chainsaw.

"This story comes, in part, from my longtime love of metal," says Bunn, "so it only felt right that I somehow figured out a way to incorporate some actual music into the project. A few years back, I worked with the amazing band A Sound of Thunder on a song for my 'Shadowman' comic. I took a chance and reached out to see if this new comic struck a chord with them. And, boy, did it!"

"Chainsaw Witch" is available on Apple Music and Amazon Music, and check out Sound of Thunder's website for even more rock. They're cool people and they do cool stuff!

As of this writing, the polka ode to Long Pig and Azrael and the interpretive dance inspired by The Window remain in preproduction.
