DRAGONRING VOLUME 1

SUMMARY:
In the South China Sea, martial arts fighter Kohl Drake travels with his friends Miles and Yue to the mysterious Dielow Island where a portal leads into a dark dimension. An old man gives Drake the powerful Dragonring to help him fight the monsters that escape the portal. As he seeks answers about the enigmatic ring, Drake and his friends are shipwrecked on a strange mist covered island inhabited by prehistoric beasts controlled by the monstrous Underlord. Drake traverses the Underlord’s castle of terrors hoping to find the jewel that will let them leave the island.

CHARACTERS:
Kohl Drake, a lithe Caucasian soldier of fortune in the South China Sea, wields nunchucks and fists as he fights interdimensional monsters.

Miles, a grizzled sailor who lives on his boat, chauffeurs his friend Drake around the South China Sea.

Yue, a young Asian boy, and Alex, the adopted son of Miles, accompany Drake on his adventures.

Raymond Wharfin is a pudgy, greedy man who has inherited a mysterious island from his uncle.

Cassandra is an enigmatic, majestic woman on the island who was raised by Mr. Winklemire, Wharfin’s uncle.

Lawrence Carstairs, a sinister lawyer, wants to steal the island away from Wharfin.

The Underlord, a reptilian figure with one eye and rows of sharp teeth, rules the dark valley of a mist covered island stuck in time. He lives in a dark castle and possesses a jewel that opens into multiple dimensions.
